gearbox splash page

something from senior of high school .. pre-proficiency with photoshop, it's ink and colored pencil, with a little brightness/contrast manipulation. i thought maybe if i put something colorful up in the middle of the day, people would dig it.

at the time i really liked it, still kinda do .. but i might redo it to see how much better it can be. i've redrawn the character a couple times, take a look in the gallery.

at least the colored pencils scan kinda cool.
